OK I admit it, ‘Flat Beat’ is the only thing I can think of when you say Mr, Oizo, but the man’s been busy. After four albums and three collaboration soundtracks he’s back once more to give us a sneak peek at his latest work entitled ‘The Church’
The two tracks to get you ready for the release are Machyne and Bear Biscuit. The first, Machyne has a trap swing to it and is a cut n paste mash-up pulling switcheoos all over the place…. no idea what I’m talking about? Then check it here
Bear Biscuit has a more linear structure and is directed more to the dance floor, a house vibe with a bouncy bass, its still got the Oizo quirky edge with its telephone samples and shakey synths.
Prepare yourself for some electronic plink plink fizz madness once the album drops on the 17/11/14 via Brainfeeder.
