Andrew Swayze has been very busy over the past year releasing solo music and producing other bands (see my Lennon Wells review). As a final blast to the year, the full A. Swayze & the Ghosts juggernaut has got together to release a swirling new single ‘Stay Right’ that positively vibrates with energy and atmosphere.
It’s a follow up to the tremendous album ‘Let’s Live A Life Better Than This’ released last year (see my review here) and their trajectory keeps going upwards.
For the first time the band has completely mixed and produced the track themselves and the entire band, including new members, have contributed to the writing. The result is a whirling dervish of a track replete with a psychedelic blush, a thumping bass and a luminescent message of positivity:

Swayze says of the track:
I believe we all come from the same source – the universe becoming aware of itself. We experience the material plane so we can grow our souls through acts of love and by releasing the weights we’ve carried from other lives. This song is a mantra for staying on track in this universal quest – a reminder to stay right.
The verbal repetition and kaleidoscope sounds creates something quite mesmerising and immersive:
