It also heralds news of another new album this year – Karma & Desire, out on 23rd October via Ninja Tune. The album also feautures Aura T-09, Zsela and others.

Overlayered vocals and smoky beats is the order of the day in ‘Walking Flames’, with simple melodic piano / synth lines weaving in and out of the mix. Sampha is typically brilliant, adding a warmth and soul to Cunningham’s beats.

On 1st September 2020 Actress shared a single called “Walking Flames” with Sampha featuring on vocals. This track is the main single from an upcoming album Karma & Desire which will be released on the 23rd October 2020 via Ninja Tune. Karma & Desire, which also features Zsela, Aura T-09, and more, will be Actress’ second full-length of the year after dropping 88. Also that month, the British artist remixed LEYA’s song “Wave” from the duo’s recent LP Flood Dream. [27]
