Track: Brisbane’s Babaganouj dish out another serving of zesty fresh dream pop delights in ‘Stay Up For Me’, ahead of their new album ‘Jumbo Pets’.

With their new album on the horizon (the delightfully named ‘Jumbo Pets’ – available now for pre-order), Brisbane’s dream pop magnates Babaganouj have just served up the gorgeous track ‘Stay Up For Me’.

‘Stay Up For Me’ is a lush sixties-inflected bop with glorious harmonies: a sparkling jewel of a pop song with a yearning tone and a call and response vibrancy. It veers ever so slightly away from a shoegaze wall of noise and yet has a powerful drive and sky high melodies with a bubblegum pop delivery.

The track (the second since the band recently burst back into the scene) comes off ‘Jumbo Pets’, out on 31 March through the ultra cool Coolin’ By Sound and Redeye Records – you can pre-order below.

Babaganouj consists of Charles Sale on guitars/vocals, Ruby McGregor on guitars/vocals, bass player/vocalist Harriette Pilbeam (also known as Hatchie) and George Browning on drums.

Previous Track: Eora/Sydney pop punksters A Swift Farewell are 'Sorry' - they are back with a vengeance and better than ever.
Next Track: Ô Lake - Avalanche
