Steve Smith’s Fallon Cush return to the fray with the rollicking bluesy ‘Sweet Joanna’ that has a luminescent boogie woogie lilt channeling the Stones. It is sunlit by the soaring backing vocals of Suzy Goodwin (who has recently released her own sixties-influenced soul tracks) and represents a far more up tempo side of the band than we have seen before, guaranteed to light up the visage and tap those toes.

It’s the sound of a band at full flight and overflowing with an infectious joie de vivre and a little luxurious bacchanalian excess:
