Estonian metal band Goresoerd offers some solace with their new single, ‘Lein’ which is released by Inverse Records. “Lein”, meaning grief, makes sure that nobody forgets about the fact that everything can still go sideways.
Ominous picked guitar starts the track off fairly stately before the drums make a mess of it and the whole track goes death metal mad. There’s vocals that sound more like a chant, some proper death metal growling. The music is chunky yet there surprising moments of intricacy from the guitar that pick out a slightly atonal melody above the barrage of drum and bass
