With their new album due on the 10th of February, Swedens In Flames have shared their fifth single taken from the album entitled ‘Meet Your Maker’. The track speaks of the desperation and frustration brought on by the chaotic dystopia of post-pandemic society.
Front man Anders Fridén states,
“When we started to write for Foregone, Meet Your Maker became the song that set the tone in terms of what we were aiming for sonically as well as thematically. You’ll see it’s everything you’ve come to expect from In flames and some. Enjoy and see you on the road in 2023!”
An angry torrential downpour of head banging metal which has Fridén really working his vocal talent as he lays down a perfect combination of clean and harsh vocals. The rest of the band set about bringing the fury with frantic drumming and ferocious guitar work. The track doesn’t let up and is a huge statement piece prior to the band dropping their new album.
