Wonky-funk cartoon freaks Silent–K have unveiled the video for their third single, ‘Doorstep’, ahead
of their debut album due later in the year.

Frontman Chris Taylor explains,

“We’ve been eager to release Doorstep since Ross (Orton) finished the mix last year. It’s a funked up, wonky-punk angular beast”. Orton certainly knows how to bring the party and he’s nailed it down tight with this mix; and the psychedelic, colourful and typically mad video is the perfect accompaniment.

A funked-up slice of rock with punchy bass and popping synths that join the perfectly played overdriven guitar chords to deliver a cracking track. The rather interesting guitar solo is the cherry on top for me. Doorstep is more evidence that these boys sound quite like no one else at the moment.
