Stereophonics return in fine form with There’s Always Gonna Be Something, the first single from their upcoming album Make ‘em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait, due for release on April 25th. It’s unmistakably Stereophonics, with Kelly Jones’ trademark husky growl guiding the song through every twist and turn, balancing grit with melody in a way only he can.

Focused on top-tier songwriting, the track strolls through with confidence, with Jones exclaiming, There’s always gonna be something, so what’s it gonna be today? Uplifting guitar lines weave around warm, steady bass, giving the impression that whatever comes their way, the band will take it in their stride, probably with a knowing smirk. The production is crisp, allowing every element to shine while staying true to their signature sound.

With a huge world tour on the horizon and over 300,000 tickets already sold, Stereophonics are proving yet again why they remain one of Britain’s most enduring and beloved rock bands. If There’s Always Gonna Be Something is anything to go by, the new album is set to be a must-listen.
