Au/Ra isn’t slowing down. Fresh from the drama of High Fantasy, the Ibiza-born, Antigua-raised artist is back with a brand new single dropping on 31st October.

High Fantasy, is a track that captures both the thrill and tension of escaping into another world. The song blends cinematic scope with a personal edge. It’s as much about the joy of creating your own universe as it is about the frustration of knowing you can’t live there forever.

For Au/Ra, it’s deeply personal: “High Fantasy is my love letter to escapism. It’s 100% written for my inner child.” Au/Ra has consistently blurred the boundaries between fantasy and reality, describing the song as a “gateway” to “entering another world with me”. It’s escapist, honest, raw – a vision that’s carried her to Top 40 success with Camelphat and Jax Jones and earned her 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify

The new single release comes at a key moment. Having sold out shows in Manchester and London in September, Au/Ra has picked up a coveted support slot with Katy Perry at London’s O2 Arena on 14th October on the Lifetimes tour. It puts her in front of an arena full of pop fans, and gives her the chance to showcase her live presence just before the song is released.

The new single marks the next step in that journey, ending 2025 on a high, drawing listeners deeper into her universe while opening the doors to some of the biggest stages of her career.
