News: Brian Eno To Release New Album 'Reflection'

On January 1st, 2017 Brian Eno will release a new ambient double LP called Reflection via Warp Records. Reflection is a follow-up to this year’s The Ship.

According to Eno:

“Reflection is so called because I find it makes me think back. It makes me think things over. It seems to create a psychological space that encourages internal conversation. And external ones actually – people seem to enjoy it as the background to their conversations. When I make a piece like this most of my time is spent listening to it for long periods – sometimes several whole days – observing what it does to different situations, seeing how it makes me feel. I make my observations and then tweak the rules.”

Reflection is one single piece clocking in at 54 minutes. It is currently available for preorder at Warp.

J Hubner

Born in the bosom of the Midwest, USA, J Hubner grew up in a woods next to a cornfield that was just a throwing distance to a lake. Music has been a constant in J Hubner's life since he was a little kid soundtracking epic battles with Star Wars action figures with his older brother's Deep Purple, Megadeth, and W.A.S.P. cassettes.
