The Headlines are a punk rock band from Malmö, Sweden. They were formed in 2005 and are heavily influenced by such bands as The Clash, Rancid and Ramones. Since 2007 they have released six full-length albums, one EP, and four singles. It seems that the band are happier when touring away from their native Malmö, as their local music scene doesn’t find them “hardcore” enough. Bass player Kerry Bomb has been quotes as saying, “there are a lot of people that hates us here in Malmö, it’s all about image and attitude. We don’t have enough tattoos and too much pink. In places like Germany nobody complains about that and the album has received great reviews.
