35 years since the first Dodgy club night in Kingston, the Britpop originals are back where it all began. And they’re bringing new music with them.

Their first new music in ten years, new single Hello Beautiful arrives Friday 26th September on Flip Flop Records, a reminder of everything that made the band so special, but captures the experiences of those past three and a half decades. It also kicks off the countdown to their sixth album of the same name, due May 2026, their first since 2016’s What Are We Fighting For.

“‘Hello Beautiful’ is more than just a song – it’s a message,” says frontman Nigel Clark. “After ten years away, we wanted something uplifting, to remind people why they fell in love with music in the first place.”

To celebrate, Dodgy will return to Bacchus Wine Bar, the Kingston venue that once hosted the original Dodgy Club, for a launch night on the exact 35th anniversary of its opening. Expect an intimate set and a proper full-circle moment.

Then the band will hit the road. A UK headline run starts at Edinburgh’s Liquid Room on 2nd October, followed by a winter tour with Black Grape, closing the year at Manchester Academy on 20th December.

With Hello Beautiful, Dodgy prove that three and a half decades on, they remain masters of melody, optimism and togetherness. Not just a nostalgia trip – but a new chapter worth tuning into.
