Turkish Dark-wave band She Past Away made their Irish debut at Whelans in Dublin, the band have been active since 2006 so hasnt really taken them tht long to make it to Irish shores. Volkan Caner himself remaking why has it taken so long. Either way it was a classic Dark-wave show and the band opting for very minumal lighting on stage (sorry for photo quality) and the practically soldout venue lapping it up, myself included!
Opening the night were alternative post-punk four-piece from Dublin, Scattered Ashes who seem to be put as the openers for any Dark-wave gig in Dublin these days, not that I’m complaining.
