Live Review + Gallery: The Ugly Kings at Hobart Brewing Co 15.10.2022

Melbourne’s hard-rocking power blues quartet, The Ugly Kings stopped off in Hobart/nipaluna at Hobart Brewing Company as part of their ‘Paranoid’ national tour.

Despite the smallish crowd in attendance, the band lit up the stage with a powerful performance led by the magnificent vocals of Russell Clark atop the grand riffage of guitarist, Christos Athanasias. Nicolas Dumont (bass) and Joel Martin (drums) pounded out a driving rhythm platform for the band to make sure they didn’t depart Hobart without leaving an indelible mark on those in attendance.
