With his album, Universes, due out on 24th July via Ninja Tune, things are hotting up for future soul producer Seven Davis Jr, a man who had appeared on the pages of Backseat Mafia before. As a further taster of the album, he’s teamed up with Bristol beatmaker Julio Bashmore for the album cut Good Vibes.

Good Vibes ripples and chatters with cut up disco, the shadow of French house staring over its shoulder, as Davis lays down his soulful lines, taken out of their comfort zone and shook up by the pair, who soak it in this irresistible cut up disco sound.

Gives me Good Vibes. I’m here all week.
