News: Bearded Theory 2024 announce first wave of acts, including headliners Jane’s Addiction

Bearded Theory set the bar incredibly high for the 2024 Festival Season, with Jane's Addiction's first UK appearance in 8 years!

Having already delivered one of the best festival line-ups of 2023, DHP Family are at it again with today’s news that next years will include a headline set by none other than Californian legends, Jane’s Addiction, who will be making their first festival appearance in the UK since 2016’s Download. Also on the bill, at Catton Hall, Derbyshire over the May Bank Holiday weekend (23rd-26th), are Amyl & The Sniffers, Dinosaur Jr, Future Islands, Sleaford Mods, Bob Vylan, 808 State, Punk Rock Factory, New Model Army and Orbital.

Further down the bill are BSM faves The Meffs, LIINES, Lordship, Panic Shack, Sprints, Problem Patterns and Girl Scout. There are also noticeable inclusions of bands that you don’t normally see on festival bills and certainly not for a good few years, with Utah Saints, Bis, [spunge], Sonic Boom Six and The March Violets all scheduled to appear.

There will be plenty of other acts added between now and next year, probably another couple of big hitters too. It’s the perfect family festival, with plenty to do other than music stuff. Also, because of the way it falls so early in the festival summer schedule, there are no packs of drunken teens roaming the site as it’s smack bang in the middle of GCSE/A Level exams/revision time!!

Tickets are already on sale now here, There are also payment plans available to pay in installments, but hurry they won’t hang around for long with today’s announcement.
