British band Bear’s Den will return to Australia this October for a short run of intimate performances that will see frontman Andrew Davie take to the stage solo for a series of stripped-back shows.

The tour marks the 10-year anniversary of their debut album Islands, originally released in 2014, which featured enduring tracks including “Agape,” “Elysium,” “Isaac,” and the Ivor Novello-nominated “Above the Clouds of Pompeii.”

In revisiting Islands, David will perform the songs in a raw and minimal form, offering audiences a direct and personal connection to the material. These shows will provide a rare chance to see the work performed as it was originally conceived, placing the songwriting front and centre.

Across the setlist, audiences can also expect a curated selection of tracks from across Bear’s Den’s wider discography. Over the past decade, the band has developed a distinct musical space—one rooted in folk tradition but shaped by a modern emotional clarity that continues to resonate with audiences globally.

These shows offer not just a celebration of Islands, but an opportunity to reflect on a decade of work that has quietly shaped the landscape of contemporary British folk-rock.
