Two emerging forces from the US rock circuit will join forces in Australia this November, with BLVD OF EYES and The Midnight Devils confirmed for a pair of HEAVYFEST shows, presented by HEAVY, XMusic and REP Management.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2021, BLVD OF EYES brings together vocalist Chloe Trujillo—originally from Paris—and New Zealand bassist Mark Dalbeth, who met at a Global Green event at LA’s Troubadour. Their debut EP Heavy Peace arrived in 2022, followed by Buying Lies for the Truth Seeker, which featured Ray Luzier (Korn) on drums.

Rounding out the live band are guitarist Kevin Hicklin (3 by Design, Weapons of Anew) and Trujillo’s daughter Lullah on drums. Since early 2024, the band has played 20 shows and recently entered the studio as a full unit to work on new material. They’ve now signed with Australian label XMusic and will release a new EP on November 21, followed by a national tour—details to be announced.

Joining them on the tour are Nebraska glam-punk trio The Midnight Devils, who have built a reputation for relentless touring and high-energy performances. Since their debut Something Bigger in 2018, they’ve performed across the US, Europe, Australia and Japan, supporting the likes of Enuff Z’Nuff and Pretty Boy Floyd. Their third album So Hard It Hurts was released during their 2024 Australian tour with Bon But Not Forgotten. Their current run, Get Laid in the USA, has kept them on the road throughout 2025, with latest single Shock the World continuing the momentum.

The two bands will share the stage at HEAVYFEST On The Harbour, a five-hour floating event aboard Sydney Harbour on Saturday 23 November, joined by Awaken The Hate, Frankie’s World Famous House Band, Audio Reign, Wayward Kings, and Kodem.

On Sunday 29 November, both bands will head north for HEAVYFEST at Soapbox Beer in Brisbane, playing alongside Dreamkillers, These Four Walls, PistonFist, Snake Bite Whisky, Engraved, Kaosphere, Goatzilla, Sound Affliction, and Blackstar. The 12-hour event kicks off at midday in Fortitude Valley.
