Bryson Tiller announces 2027 Australian arena tour with Majid Jordan

A decade after T R A P S O U L reshaped the sound of contemporary R&B, Bryson Tiller is heading back to Australia and New Zealand with a major arena tour that arrives at a pivotal moment in his career.

The Grammy-nominated Louisville artist has announced Bryson Tiller Presents: The Neo Trapsoul Tour, a sprawling 61-date global run that will see him return to Australian shores in January 2027, joined by Canadian R&B duo Majid Jordan on all dates.

The tour begins in North America this August before winding its way through some of the world’s most recognisable venues, including Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome. From there, Tiller heads through Europe before bringing the final leg of the tour to Australia and New Zealand.

Australian fans can catch Tiller at Perth’s RAC Arena on January 19, Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on January 21, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on January 23 and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on January 25 before the tour wraps up at Auckland’s Spark Arena on January 27.

The announcement arrives as Tiller prepares to unveil a new album. Last month he offered a first glimpse of the project with the release of new single “IT’S OK”, signalling the next phase of a career that has continually balanced rap’s sharp edges with the melodic instincts that made him one of the defining voices of modern trap-soul.

Few artists have left such an immediate mark on R&B as Tiller did with “Don’t”. The diamond-certified breakout single propelled 2015’s T R A P S O U L to multi-platinum success and helped establish a blueprint that countless artists would follow. Subsequent releases including True to Self and A N N I V E R S A R Y cemented his commercial standing, while his self-titled 2024 album proved he remained a vital force nearly a decade into his career.

Last year saw Tiller reflect on his legacy while simultaneously pushing forward. He celebrated the tenth anniversary of T R A P S O U L and released the ambitious double album Solace & The Vices, a project split between soulful introspection and rap-focused intensity. The release reinforced the duality that has always sat at the centre of his music.

His recent collaboration with Chris Brown, “It Depends”, became one of the biggest R&B hits of the year, debuting atop Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart while earning Grammy, BET and American Music Award recognition.

With a new album on the horizon and a catalogue that continues to resonate with a generation raised on late-night confessionals and understated vulnerability, The Neo Trapsoul Tour feels less like a victory lap and more like the beginning of another chapter.

Tickets go on general sale from June 5, with a range of artist, Live Nation, Vodafone, Mastercard and Westpac New Zealand presales available beforehand. VIP packages, including premium seating, lounge access and exclusive merchandise, will also be offered.
