Calvin Harris is finally doing something he has never done before: an Australian headline tour. The Scottish DJ and producer will head Down Under in February, bringing one of electronic music’s biggest catalogues with him.
Harris has spent nearly two decades moving between club music and outright pop domination. His 2007 debut ‘I Created Disco’ introduced him with ‘Acceptable in the 80s’ and ‘The Girls’, while 2009 follow-up ‘Ready for the Weekend’ delivered his first UK No. 1 single with ‘I’m Not Alone’.
Those early records also capture a very different Calvin Harris, with the producer regularly handling his own vocals before increasingly moving behind the console and working with some of pop’s biggest voices.
Since then, he’s become a Grammy winner, multi-platinum producer and festival heavyweight. Now, after years of Australian appearances without a headline tour of his own, February finally puts Calvin Harris at the top of the bill.
