News: Cam Cole Shares Fizzing New Single ‘Chasing Dreams’

From busking on the streets of Camden to selling out shows around the world, Cam Cole has built his career by following his own path. Now, the uncompromising blues-rock artist channels that same philosophy into his latest single, ‘Chasing Dreams’, an uplifting, hard-driving track about focusing on the life directly in front of you rather than trying to carry the weight of the world.

Taken from Cole’s forthcoming album Lost In Creation, due for release on 30th October 2026, ‘Chasing Dreams’ pairs his trademark blues grit with a driving four-on-the-floor rhythm and vintage guitar tones. The track offers another glimpse into the expanded sonic world of what promises to be his most ambitious record yet.

“The song is about a time when I was trying to solve all the problems of the world and taking them on and getting swallowed up by it,” Cole explains. “It’s about realising that the best thing we can actually do instead is be the best version of ourselves and through that we make the world a better place. So you chase your own dreams and I chase mine.”

That perspective runs through Lost In Creation, which was recorded at Dean Street Studios in London and mastered at Abbey Road. While Cole retains the raw immediacy of the one-man-band approach that first established his reputation, the new album sees him pushing that sound into more experimental territory. His Farmer Footdrums and main guitar were recorded simultaneously live in the studio, providing the foundations for additional layers of guest vocals, unusual instrumentation and a broader palette of sounds.

“This whole album has a different feel to my previous ones,” says Cole. “We started experimenting and painting around it with different vibes and sounds, guest vocalists and odd instruments, and then the tracks really came alive. That’s where the album title Lost In Creation comes from, we really got lost in it in a good way.”

‘Chasing Dreams’ emerged as one of the unexpected highlights of those recording sessions. What Cole initially regarded as simply a strong demo gradually evolved into one of his favourite tracks on the album, combining its direct rhythmic drive with blues foundations and vintage rock character.

The single adds another chapter to an unconventional independent career that has taken Cole from the streets of Camden to international stages. Known as “probably the heaviest one-man band in the world”, he has amassed millions of streams, sold out shows across Europe, North America and Australia, appeared in the Emmy Award-winning series Ted Lasso and featured in an Amazon Prime documentary chronicling his first American tour. His music has also most recently appeared on the soundtrack to EA’s UFC 6.

For all the experimentation that surrounds Lost In Creation, its central idea remains straightforward: music can provide a space to step away from the noise and take a breath.

“I guess if there is a main theme on Lost In Creation that connects all the tunes,” Cole says, “it’s about escaping into music and having a breather for a moment.”
