News: Cleopatra Records Release Rozz Williams / Christian Death Anniversary Tribute With Kill Shelter

To mark the anniversary on the 1st April of the death of singer Rozz Williams from cult US band Christian Death, Cleopatra Records have just released a two track remix single of ‘Spectre (Love is Dead)’ by UK artist and producer Kill Shelter.

“It was an absolute honour to be asked to work on the tribute remix of Spectre (Love is Dead) by Christian Death for Cleopatra Records. At it’s heart, the original is a love song steeped in regret and I was keen to emphasise the pain and personal torment that runs through the lyrics. The remix plays to the tortured soul and this is offset with a driving dark energy suitable of a club remix.”
– Pete Burns, Kill Shelter

The remix was made using the original recordings from 1985 and was taken from the Cleopatra archives.
