After two recent shows in Perth on 18 and 19 November, fans who were disappointed that the band only visited WA this time, have some good news today.
Coldplay will be back in Australia in 2024 for shows in Sydney and Melbourne and will also be visiting New Zealand for a gig in Auckland.
Coldplay formed in London in 1996, and the band has achieved global fame for their melodic, emotionally resonant music. Comprising lead vocalist and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion, the band is known for their distinctive blend of introspective lyrics and sweeping instrumental arrangements. Their concerts are celebrated for their visually stunning and energetic performances, captivating fans around the world with a blend of heartfelt music and spectacular showmanship.
Live Nation shared the news today and fans can register at Coldplay’s official website for access to the ticket presale, which will begin at 10am AEDT on Wednesday, November 29.
General ticket sales open up on Friday, December 1.
