News: Epic Sensation Shares Intense New Single ‘I’m Great’

London-based DJ, producer and rap artist Epic Sensation has returned with a new single, ‘I’m Great’, a high-energy hip-hop release that fuses modern rap production with electronic influences and performance-led intensity.

Originally from India and now building his career internationally from London, Epic Sensation has been steadily shaping a sound defined by club-ready production, cross-cultural influences, and a strong emphasis on live audience engagement. His work sits at the intersection of hip-hop, electronic music, and global fusion, reflecting both his roots and his current base in the UK music scene.

A defining element of his artistic identity is his bilingual approach, weaving together Hindi and English throughout his music. This linguistic duality is not treated as a stylistic addition but as a core part of his creative expression, intended to bridge audiences across regions and cultural contexts. By combining influences from Indian musical traditions, UK rap, and contemporary global hip-hop, Epic Sensation continues to develop a hybrid sound designed for both international listeners and diaspora communities.

‘I’m Great’ itself traces back to an instrumental idea first developed in 2022 during a period of experimentation with energetic hip-hop production. The track was initially left unfinished and stored in Epic Sensation’s archive while he continued refining his production approach and expanding his artistic network.

While studying MA Advanced Music Technology at the University of West London, Epic Sensation focused heavily on advancing his recording, mixing, and production skills through hands-on studio practice. Access to professional facilities and structured technical training played a role in shaping his approach to sound design and final production workflows.

The track eventually resurfaced through an unexpected connection. The collaboration behind ‘I’m Great’ emerged after artist Rithvik discovered one of Epic Sensation’s live performance videos via a Sync London social media post following a live event appearance. That moment of discovery led to renewed interest in the unfinished instrumental and ultimately set the groundwork for the single’s completion.

After remaining unreleased for more than a year, ‘I’m Great’ returned to focus when the timing aligned creatively for all collaborators involved. Epic Sensation later completed the mastering process, reconnected with Rithvik, and brought in NastyNation to finalise the release.

At its core, the single explores confidence, resilience, individuality, and self-belief. Rather than framing confidence as dominance or arrogance, the track positions it as a sustained internal discipline, maintaining belief in one’s vision through periods of uncertainty and transition.

The artist’s personal journey feeds directly into that thematic direction. Having relocated from India to the UK, Epic Sensation has navigated the challenges of establishing himself in a new creative environment while simultaneously developing his technical and performance capabilities. His time in London has involved building collaborations, refining production techniques, and expanding his live performance profile across multiple scenes.

Alongside his creative output, Epic Sensation has also formalised his work through the establishment of Epic Sensation Ltd, a UK-registered company through which he develops projects spanning music production, live events, artist branding, and creative direction. The move reflects a broader shift toward structuring his artistic career across both creative and business-focused ventures.

‘I’m Great’ therefore arrives not only as a standalone release but as a continuation of an evolving artistic identity, one shaped by cross-cultural movement, technical development, and a growing presence within international hip-hop and electronic music spaces.
