Field Day 2026

Sydney’s long-running New Year’s Day festival, Field Day, returns to The Domain on Gadigal Country this January 1 to celebrate its 25th anniversary — reaffirming its place as one of the city’s defining summer events. Known for its mix of Australian and international talent, the 2026 edition brings together a powerful cross-section of dance and electronic artists across three stages.

Headlining this year’s event are Carl Cox and Jamie Jones, performing both solo and back-to-back sets. For Cox, it marks a welcome return to Sydney — and a full-circle moment with promoter Fuzzy, the team behind Field Day’s quarter-century legacy. “I’ll never forget seeing in the year 2000 on Bondi Beach,” he said. “It’s great to be back with Fuzzy for another milestone, celebrating 25 years of Field Day.”

Joining them are Italian techno artist Deborah De LucaDanish producer KölschBritish DJ Patrick Topping, and homegrown heavyweights The Presets, whose live set continues to define Australia’s electronic sound. Rising acts STÜMPatrick MasonBag RaidersBelters Only, and Charlotte Plank round out a diverse lineup that stretches from underground house to anthemic pop-dance.

Reflecting its ongoing commitment to community, Field Day 2026 will also introduce a new stage: CAMP GROUND — a space curated by and for Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ communities. Organisers said the stage celebrates the queer artists and revellers who have been integral to the festival’s story since its inception.

Across its 25 years, Field Day has remained a touchstone of Sydney’s live-music calendar — a space where global names and local voices converge under the summer sun. This year’s edition promises to continue that tradition, capturing the city’s energy, inclusivity, and love of dance music in full flow.
