Gintsugi, releases her highly anticipated second album, ‘The Elephant In The Room’, a testament to overflowing creativity, unique musical approach and unquestionable ability as a performer.

Capturing a mixture of neo-classical elements with sprawling production and Kate Bush and Bjork-esque songwriting. Featuring nine tracks, the album showcases a beautiful and emotive musical understanding packing heaps of depth into its multifaceted soundscapes.

Born from a moment of both global and personal crisis, ‘The Elephant In The Room’ lyrically taps into its inner strength to create a musical gem that evokes unfiltered events and emotions without pretension.

Gintsugi assumes a pivotal role in the production process, meticulously writing and recording tracks for months in her home studio. Armed with a Native sound library, a Moog, a computer, and the violin prowess of collaborator Eymeric Anselem, the album’s production was finalized in collaboration with Beautiful Losers Records, adding the finishing touches to the mix and mastering.

Immersive and reflective, the album is fiercely unique but retains a sparkling accessibility.

Talking about the album, Ginsugi explains: “If it were a tarot card, the album would be the Nameless Arcane. Born of desolation and great solitude, it rests on the backbone of things. It’s a direct confrontation with reality. A disappointment, but also the realization that you can sometimes find nourishment where you’ve never looked. And the endurance to carry on, despite everything.“
