Good Things Festival has just made December considerably busier. With the 2026 festival already bringing a huge lineup to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, a stack of artists have now announced headline sideshows around the main event, swapping festival stages for much smaller rooms.
The All-American Rejects lead the charge with a Melbourne show at Northcote Theatre on December 8, arriving in Australia for their first performances here in more than 17 years. Millencolin also head to Northcote Theatre on December 2 before Brisbane’s Tivoli on December 8, with the Swedish punk veterans performing their 2000 album ‘Pennybridge Pioneers’ in full.
Ministry’s sideshows carry considerably more weight, with Al Jourgensen and co. playing Sydney’s Liberty Hall on December 8 and Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on December 10 as part of their Australian farewell. P.O.D. also step away from the festival grounds for shows in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne, bringing Ocean Grove along as special guests.
The Devil Wears Prada team up with Future Palace for Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on December 2 and Brisbane’s The Triffid on December 8, while All Them Witches take their heavy psychedelic sprawl to Adelaide on December 1 and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel the following night. Bilmuri, meanwhile, heads across the Tasman after Good Things for shows in Wellington and Auckland on December 8 and 9.
Further down the bill, there’s plenty happening in smaller rooms. Kami Kehoe plays Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on December 2 before joining LØLØ for Brisbane and Melbourne shows. The Home Team hit Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, House of Protection take on Brisbane and Melbourne, ivri plays The Espy, while The Black Queen celebrate 10 years of ‘Fever Daydream’ with shows in Perth and Melbourne.
Locked Shut bring their hardcore sprint to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, while Berlin’s vianova play the Burdekin in Sydney and Northcote Social Club in Melbourne. Between the festival exclusives and this newly announced run of sideshows, Good Things is effectively spilling out across venues around the country for the best part of two weeks.
