Australia’s country music calendar is about to gain a major new addition, with LONGHAUL Touring unveiling a large-scale festival led by Kane Brown and Kacey Musgraves in what will be their only Australian performances. Backseat Mafia caught Musgraves at the Sydney Opera house in 2025.
The event marks the launch of LONGHAUL Touring, TEG Live’s dedicated country music division, signalling an ambitious push to bring internationally acclaimed artists to Australian audiences while continuing to support the next generation of local talent.
While Brown and Musgraves top the bill, the festival stretches well beyond its two headline names, pairing established international artists with emerging Australian voices. US singer-songwriter Charles Wesley Godwin joins acclaimed Americana artist Margo Price, Canadian favourites James Barker Band, and rising American performer Maddox Batson, creating a lineup that spans contemporary country, roots music and Americana.
Australian artists are equally well represented, with Ava Hall, Beau Shearer, Denvah, Nathan Lamont, Taylor Mossand Tyla Rodrigues rounding out a lineup designed to showcase the breadth of the country’s own country music scene alongside global stars.
The festival also reflects LONGHAUL Touring’s broader ambitions. Beyond headline tours, the new promoter has outlined plans to develop emerging artists through its Jam shows while expanding opportunities for country music across Australia and New Zealand.
For Australian fans, the biggest draw is likely to be the rare opportunity to catch Kane Brown and Kacey Musgraves on home soil. With both artists confirmed for exclusive Australian appearances, the festival is positioning itself as one of the country’s most significant new additions to the live music landscape.
