Irish singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre will return to Australia in February 2026, bringing his rich blend of soul, hip-hop, and folk to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Across more than a decade of releases, Sabre has built a reputation for albums that cut close to the heart, informed by his early immersion in Ireland’s hip-hop underground and shaped by the folk, blues and country that soundtracked his youth. His style has never stood still, fusing raw storytelling with the influence of artists ranging from The Stone Roses and The Beatles to Tupac, Nas, Cymande and DJ Premier.
The tour kicks off at Brisbane’s Tivoli Theatre on Sunday 22 February, before moving to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Monday 23 February and wrapping at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Wednesday 25 February. Special guests will be announced soon.
For Sabre, this run is another chance to showcase a catalogue that is both deeply personal and stylistically broad – a reminder of how far he’s travelled since his teenage years as an MC and producer.
