News: Paris Paloma announces debut Australian tour on the heels of Cacophony

Paris Paloma is finally heading to Australia. The rising indie-folk force has announced her inaugural Good Boy Tour, bringing her haunting vocals and razor-sharp feminist storytelling to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle this January.

The run begins at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Sunday 11 January, before moving through Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre (13 Jan), Adelaide’s Hindley St Music Hall (15 Jan) and closing at Freo.Social on Saturday 17 January. Artist presale launches Tuesday 23 September at 12pm.

A breakout in 2023 with the viral, Gold-certified single “Labour” — a rallying cry for women’s rights that clocked over 600M Spotify streams and 11 billion social impressions — Paloma doubled down with 2024’s debut album Cacophony. The record, steeped in Greek mythology, gothic literature and the bruises of patriarchal oppression, cemented her as one of the genre’s boldest new voices.

Her latest single “Good Boy”, a biting satire featuring Emma Thompson, continues her charge as a cultural disruptor, pairing spectral balladry with a feminist bite. It’s a move that aligns her with the lineage of Hozier and Florence Welch, both in her visceral soundscapes and unflinching lyrical poise.

Beyond the music, Paloma has woven fashion and art into her mythos, collaborating with Dior, Prada and Bora Aksu, and even soundtracking The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim with “The Rider”. From bedroom demos in Derbyshire to stages shared with Stevie Nicks — and a 2026 slot on Florence + The Machine’s arena tour — she arrives in Australia as one of the most vital voices in modern folk.
