Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs, Pigs will make their presence felt this December with an appearance at the iconic Meredith Music Festival, as special guests of The Mark Of Cain and for headline shows of their own. These shows will be the band’s first-ever in Australia.

Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, stylized as Pigs x7, is a British rock band known for their intense and hypnotic sound that merges elements of heavy rock, psychedelia, and stoner rock. Formed in 2014 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, the band has garnered a reputation for their powerful live performances and a distinctive blend of raw energy and atmospheric exploration.

“It just came from a list of really preposterous band names, and we stuck with that one. We never thought we’d be where we are now, touring the States and things. We just thought we’d play a couple of daft shows in Newcastle and that would be that. But it kind of has really snowballed.”

PIGS x 7 on the band’s name

Latest album, 2023’s ‘Land Of Sleeper’ spawned two singles – ‘Mr Medicine’ and ‘Ultimate Hammer’ – that were added to the BBC Radio 6 Music playlist and has been included in the Best of the Year So Far lists at key UK record stores Rough Trade, Norman Records and Piccadilly Records. UK Chart highlights include #1 in Record Store Chart and Independent Album Breakers Chart, #2 in Vinyl Albums Chart and Rock & Metal Albums chart, and #3 in Official Independent Albums Chart Top 50.
