NEWS: SLAM DUNK ANNOUNCES STAGE TIMES + THREE NEW BANDS

It’s just three weeks until Slam Dunk Festival kicks off on Saturday 25th May at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds! This will be the festival’s first move out of its Central Leeds location and into a more open space.

Stage times have been announced and three new acts have been added to the lineup: Pop-punk newcomers Hot Milk will be joining headliners IDKHOW and Lights on the Key Club stage. Meanwhile John Floreani of Trophy Eyes and tiLLie will be rounding off the acoustic stage.

The location isn’t the only change coming to Slam Dunk this year; as they will be implementing a new ‘clash proof’ system with the stage times. Stages that might attract the same crowds have been given alternating stage times so that fans won’t have to make any hard decisions. The Jagermeister and Impericon stages will be alternating to let fans of metalcore and hardcore take in as many bands as they can throughout the day. As well as this, the Dickies and Marshall stages will also be alternating, letting people make the most of the softer side of Slam Dunk. You can find stage times and any clashes here!

If all that is still not enough for you, there will be a pre party the night before at Leeds Beckett Student Union in the North. The South will hold their party at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes in London (hosted by Shove It)! The Slam Dunk afterparty will also be taking place on both dates, at The Forum in Leeds and the O2 Islington Academy respectively.

Festival and afterparty tickets are available at slamdunkfestival.com, tickets are priced at £59 and afterparty tickets are sold separately. Gates will open at 9am, arena opens at 11am and the first bands will be on at 11.45am!
