News: Taylor Acorn Returns to Australia with 2026 Tour and New Album Poster Child

Taylor Acorn returns to Australia in 2026, stepping back onto local stages with a clarity and confidence shaped by the arrival of her new album Poster Child. Now firmly positioned among the most recognisable voices in modern pop punk, the Nashville-based artist brings a show that reflects years of steady development — from self-released songs to label-backed momentum — supported this time by Florida alt-pop-rock trio Arrows in Action.

The run begins on Sunday 1 March in Melbourne before moving through Brisbane and Adelaide, with a final date in Sydney on Friday 6 March. It marks Acorn’s third visit in as many years following her early 2024 debut sets and later appearances at Good Things Festival, where she shared the bill with Korn, Violent Femmes and Electric Callboy. Each trip has strengthened her connection with Australian audiences, who’ve quickly adopted her blend of late-90s/early-00s pop-punk character and unguarded emotional storytelling.

Acorn’s journey from Northern Pennsylvania to Nashville in 2014 set the foundation for her creative identity. Working closely with producer Dan Swank, she developed a sound that borrows the melodic directness of Avril Lavigne and the dynamic lift of Paramore while carving out space for her own perspective. Her 2024 debut album Survival in Motionignited wider attention, eventually leading to her 2025 signing with Fearless Records. Poster Child, released 24 October, continues that trajectory — a set of songs that sits comfortably between energetic hooks and reflective lyricism, earning a 5/5 review from The AU Review as a confident step forward.

Arrows in Action join the tour as special guests, bringing their polished mix of indie rock, synth-driven textures and bright alt-pop sensibilities. Since forming in 2017, they’ve evolved from online buzz to a touring act with two albums — Built to Last (2023) and I Think I’ve Been Here Before (2025) — and collaborations including their 2021 track with Acorn, “Uncomfortably Numb.” Their presence adds a complementary dimension to the bill, matching Acorn’s melodic edge with their own clean, modern production.
