The band that brought us the 2014 internet phenomenon In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company, Canadian bluegrass sensations The Dead South have just released the second single from soon-to-be-released album, Chains & Stakes.
After releasing their first tantalizing morsel released in October, Tiny Wooden Box, the latest release titled A Little Devil, sees the band continue with the rollicking style of foot-stomping acoustic goodness they are renowned for, which has seen them grow to be adored world-wide.
Chains & Stakes follows in the footsteps of their critically-acclaimed, joint covers EPs Easy Listening for Jerks, Parts I & II early last year, and is slated for release on the 9th February, 2024 via Six Shooter Records.
The band will be touring Australia and New Zealand throughout March and early April 2024 as part of an extensive, world-wide tour incorporating the US and Europe in support of the new release. Dates for the Australia/NZ shows are listed below. The tour includes a headlining spot at Bluesfest Byron Bay’s 35th Anniversary festival.
