American punk band, the Menzingers, are set to return to Australia and New Zealand in August. Equipped with their seventh album, ‘Some of It Was True,’ The Menzingers are sure to make a triumphant return, showcasing their evolution and maturity gained through decades of experience.

“This record is a pivotal moment in our history. We have the liberty of our fans growing with us now, and after writing these lyrical songs about where we are in life, we decided to take other peoples’ stories and make something bigger out of it.”

The Menzingers, hail from Scranton, Pennsylvania, and are known for their heartfelt and anthemic sound. Formed in 2006, the band consists of Greg Barnett (vocals, guitar), Tom May (vocals, guitar), Eric Keen (bass), and Joe Godino (drums). Their music is characterized by its blend of punk energy, melodic hooks, and introspective lyrics, often reflecting on themes of youth, nostalgia, and personal growth. Over the years, the Menzingers have built a loyal fan base through their passionate live performances and a discography that includes critically acclaimed albums like ‘On the Impossible Past’ and ‘After the Party.’
