Tramlines 2025 – Sheffield’s Big Weekender Returns With Pulp, Kasabian, Reytons and More

Sheffield’s biggest music weekender returns this summer with Tramlines Festival 2025 shaping up to be one of the most anticipated yet. Running from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th July, the lineup is bursting with hometown heroes, indie legends, and fresh talent – all taking over Hillsborough Park for three days of music, comedy, and celebration.
Friday 25 July – A Day Curated by PULP
Friday is an unmissable hometown celebration as PULP curate the entire day. Expect an emotional and triumphant headline set from Jarvis Cocker and co. following their monumental reunion shows. The rest of the day is equally stacked, with psych-rock pioneers Spiritualized, rising star Baxter Dury, and Sheffield’s own Femur and Spanish Horses adding grit and groove.
Over at the Leadmill Stage, Hot Chip bring their iconic DJ set, while John Grant and I Monster promise moments of beauty and brilliance. Meanwhile, performance poet John Cooper Clarke returns to deliver razor-sharp verse, and the night ends with a full-on Leadmill Presents: ABBA Party – you know you’ll be singing every word.
Saturday 26 July – South Yorkshire vs The World
Saturday sees local indie giants The Reytons headline the Sarah Nulty Main Stage, capping a meteoric rise from grassroots upstarts to festival mainstays. They’re joined by Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand, hit machine Jake Bugg, and early-2000s pop royalty Natasha Bedingfield.
Sheffield icons The Everly Pregnant Brothers bring their Yorkshire wit, and the Leadmill Studio Orchestra add a unique twist to the stage lineup.
Over on the T’Other Stage, Rizzle Kicks bring the feel-good factor, with support from Heather Small, Chloe Slater, and BBC 6 Music favourite Tommy Mellin.
If you’re after laughs, Lucy Beaumont, Eleanor Tiernan, and Hayley Ellis lead a solid comedy lineup, hosted by the ever-hilarious Sally-Anne Hayward.
Music fans will also want to catch The Futureheads, Freddie Halkon, and The Denabys on the Leadmill Stage, while The Library Stage and The Open Arms offer everything from spoken word and karaoke to Afrobeats, hip hop, and soul.
Sunday 27 July – Kasabian Close It Out
Sunday keeps the energy high with Kasabian headlining the final day. Expect anthem after anthem from the Leicester rockers. The Last Dinner Party – one of 2024’s most exciting breakthrough acts – bring their theatrical art-pop to the main stage, alongside indie favourites The Lathums, The Sherlocks, and Scouting for Girls.
Norwegian pop powerhouse Sigrid takes top billing on the T’Other Stage, joined by Red Rum Club, CMAT, and Luvcat.
Comedy comes courtesy of the always-quick Russell Howard, supported by Tom Ward and Olivia Lee, with Emmanuel Sonubi hosting.
Elsewhere, the weekend wraps with performances from The Clause, The Royston Club, BBC Radio Sheffield DJs, and more across the city’s favourite pop-up venues.
