News: Turnstile Bring Never Enough to Australia for Four Massive Shows

Baltimore hardcore icons Turnstile are set to storm Australian stages this summer, bringing their unstoppable live energy back for the first time since their breakthrough era. The tour follows the release of their latest LP, Never Enough — a record that cements their evolution from underground insurgents to one of the most vital rock bands on the planet.

The band will play four huge shows across Australia, hitting PICA, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Brisbane’s Riverstage and Perth’s Red Hill Auditorium — joined by UK emo revivalists Basement, whose raw, emotionally charged sound has long mirrored Turnstile’s intensity and heart.

Since forming in Baltimore in 2010, Turnstile have reshaped modern hardcore. Their 2021 album Glow On earned three Grammy nominations and pushed the genre’s boundaries with colour, groove and radiant optimism — a rare combination in heavy music. Never Enough builds on that momentum, folding funk, melody and vulnerability into their high-voltage hardcore framework.

Turnstile’s sound sits somewhere between chaos and catharsis: hardcore roots laced with alt-rock accessibility and flashes of pure pop ecstasy. Critics have dubbed it “pop-hardcore”, and frontman Brendan Yates has described the band’s live shows as “a celebration of being alive.” It’s that spirit — raucous, communal and kaleidoscopic — that has made Turnstile one of this generation’s most essential bands to experience in the flesh.
