Scottish rock band Vukovi went on their first ‘grown-up’ tour earlier this year, zipping across the UK to play to new audiences and get their voices heard above the rest. You can read our review of their Leeds show here.

Since then, the band have locked themselves away; writing and recording their self-titled debut album and planning the headline tour that will allow them to share their stories with the rest of the UK. You’ll see a few familiar tracks on the upcoming release, most notably ‘Animal’, ‘Bouncy Castle’ and ‘Boy George’, as Vukovi give their most popular songs a new lease of life, reintroducing them to new and old fans alike.

If you’ve never heard of Vukovi before, expect gigs full of energy and noise as lead singer Janine treats the stage like her personal playground and grabs cameras from the front row to record videos of all the chaos. There’s no time to stand still as every song pulls you in with relentless rhythm and fully-charged riffs. Vukovi are a fun band, and it’s about time you paid attention to them.

The self-titled debut will be released on 10th March 2017, accompanied by a 7-date UK tour. The album is available to pre-order now, complete with exclusive perks: hand-written lyric sheets, t-shirts, posters, and USBs. What are you waiting for?
