Welsh singer-songwriter Daddy Drwg shares the genre-bending new album ‘A Tree Called Happy’.

Comprising ten tracks that traverse a spectrum of musical styles, from alternative metal to Britpop, ‘A Tree Called Happy’ is a testament to Daddy Drwg’s diverse musical palette. As a true solo endeavor, Daddy Drwg takes on the roles of writer, performer, and producer for each track, granting him the freedom to explore his creative vision to its fullest extent.

Listeners can expect a sonic journey filled with grooving bass lines, gleaming synth arpeggios, lively guitar riffs, and the heartfelt embrace of acoustic emotions. Daddy Drwg’s meticulous attention to detail shines through in every aspect of the music, resulting in a distinctive and captivating sound that defies easy categorization.

Reflecting on his journey, Daddy Drwg shares, “After spending years in what was a musical hiatus, it has been a very enjoyable and rewarding experience writing and recording this solo album and emerging anew as Daddy Drwg.”

Daddy Drwg, whose name translates to ‘Bad Daddy’, began his musical journey as a self-taught multi-instrumentalist before further honing his skills with a post-graduate degree in Music Technology from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. With a rich musical background that includes stints in globally touring bands and contributions to numerous albums, Daddy Drwg brings a wealth of experience to his solo debut.

‘A Tree Called Happy’ serves as a showcase for Daddy Drwg’s diverse talents, offering a compelling glimpse into the artist’s creative universe.
