Sheffield favourites The Sherlocks are heading out on their biggest UK headline tour to date, before heading over to Europe as main support for Liam Gallagher. It follows the recent success of their debut album, ‘Live For The Moment’, which was fawned over in equal measure by press and fans alike. Ahead of the tour we asked the band to put together a playlist of tracks that will be rocking their tour bus as they travel up and down the country, and their thoughts on those tracks.

Here it is

Sound of silence – Simon & Garfunkel
This track Is an absolute classic. These Melodies were wrote to cut through the bone.

Foo Fighters – Walk
What a huge song this is. Watched them at Glastonbury and this song went off!

OutKast- ATLiens
I love the groove of the 1990s hip hop vibe! And the lyrics are quality, “cause I’m cooler than a polar bears toenails”. OutKast are the bee knees!!

Bill Withers – Lovely Day
A true classic! We love the relaxing feel of this tune, always nice to have this on when we are having our morning cuppas!

Simon Webbe – No Worries.
Quality track, this was the first album I can remember being bought. It was a copy off the car boot, god bless the good old days!!

Shed Seven – Better Days
One of the best tunes I’ve heard recently. Good album!

Bob Dylan – If You See Her Say Hello
I think it’s one of the most beautiful songs ever written. It’s stripped back to the bone Bob’s voice cutting through your soul.

Manic Street Preachers – International Blue
It’s a feel good tune and already a Manic’s classic!
