It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from CADE. The Los Angeleno released the WOLF BLUE EP in 2019, and has taken his time following that up; the detailed R&B sound he’s been cultivating for the last few years has undergone further development since then, and he’s got his second EP arriving in a few months. We’re premiering the clip for its lead single ’20 MISSED CALLS’ today – the 8-track collection is called WATCHING YOU CRY (he’s a fan of capital letters, no doubt) and the first song to be unveiled from the project features Florida’s Nate Traveller.
Speaking about the forthcoming EP, CADE said that he ‘was having highs & lows with a 3-year relationship that inevitably crashed and burned, and was working to find myself, who I am and what I want to be known for. I wanted the project to make everyone feel like they were in the passenger seat for all of the experiences I had during the time I was writing it. Living in Los Angeles and being tempted by the partying and sins that come with Hollywood, the feelings of love and loss, and everything in between.’
