Sakura is familiar to many, especially in his native Australia, as DJ Archie, and he’s teamed up with UK vocalist Monique Thomas for the track. UK producer and instrumentalist Andre Hutchinson has given it this delicious 90’s sounding soul funk reading, all bubbling basslines and layer upon layer of analogue sounding synths over a simple beat. Thomas soaks the whole thing in her soulful pipes, delivering this killer melody that’ll have you kicking back and reaching for the Pina Colada’s.
