Don’t look so blue, WARBLY JETS – your new album is out! The Los Angeles-based pair of Samuel Shea and Julien O’Neill, avowed fans of upper-case letters, released their self-titled debut album in 2017, and followed that up with the Propaganda EP in 2019; the wait for a proper follow-up would go on a little longer for obvious reasons, but their second full-length surfaces today, little more than four years in the making. To mark the occasion, the alt-pop duo shot a video for ‘Let Go : Be Free’, which we’re premiering below.

The current single off the aforementioned second album MONSTERHOUSE is accompanied by a clip spearheaded by Danny DiMarchi, about which O’Neill has this to say: “For me, it’s about embracing different sides of yourself. The subject matter in the lyrics is actually surprisingly dark when you look closely, but simply put it’s about letting go and not denying the feelings that compel you to be unique.” The song’s a gem, too – one of the highlights from an album that dips into sample-heavy eclecticism.

MONSTERHOUSE is out today via Rebel Union.
