Hey Bulldog from Manchester, started as a spec of an idea from their front main Rob Manton (guitar and vocals), who joined forces with like minded souls Matt Parry (bass) and Ben Howarth-Lees (drums) to become an explosive act on the live circuit.
Touting psychedelic enthused blues, Hey Bulldog offer their single ‘Stranger’ on Doing it to Death Records, which follows on from ‘Divide and Conquer’ which gained many notable plaudits and extensive radio support.
The bouncing up beat track channels blues vibes early on with forceful drumming and a probing guitar riff, reminiscent of Dead Meadow, before Rob’s vocals take hold channelling early Bowie to magnificent effect. Powerful guitar playing ensues to completion and ear marks what Hey Bulldog are all about.
