News: Hey Sholay announce Sheffield Show to replace cancelled Tramlines appearance

Hey Sholay are an extraordinary band. I stumbled across them almost 2 years ago and I’ve been bewitched by their majestic sounds and idyllic wonders ever since.

The band don’t tour often so their gigs are the highlight of any calendar. They’ve done secret gigs in pub gardens and grand shows in Sheffield Cathedral – you can guarantee that every show from Hey Sholay will be full of magic and celebration. I still consider their EP launch for ‘Cloud, Castle, ______’ last summer one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to.

Since their cancelled show at Tramlines this year, Hey Sholay have promised fans a spectacular show to make up for any shortfall. They’re men of their word and they’ve just announced a gig at the Picturehouse Social on 29th November 2014. You can pretty much guarantee they’ll be playing an assortment of wonderful new songs and old fan favourites.

The Picturehouse Social is a relatively new bar in the basement of the old Abbeydale Picturehouse. The grand building still holds all of its majesty and the new bar only adds to it; beautiful decoration, excellent food and a room full of ping pong tables make this one of the best places to go in Sheffield.

Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? I’m never one to speculate but I’m pretty certain it’s going to be a sell-out; you won’t want to miss this.
