See: Juniore release new video for Bizarre

French band Juniore, fresh from being the first French speaking band to be A-Listed on 6Music twice, and capturing the hearts of the likes of David Holmes and lead Arctic Monkey Alex Turner, have today released a new video for recent single Bizarre taken from their forthcoming album Un Deux Trois, out on 28th February 2020.

Even aside from the language, Bizarre is unmistakably French, with this gallic hazy funk, squarely in the lineage of Gainsbourg and the likes, as it shimmers and shuffles gloriously along, marrying the old and the new.

Leader Anna Jean has this to say of Bizarre:

“A Moricone-like whistler, sensuous beats and biting organs, in so many words, Juniore tells the tale of the Bizarre times we live in, in the strange and familiar atmosphere of their Yéyé Noir, where paradoxes peacefully exist. Juniore revives the Swinging Sixties’ acid mood, pumped on high definition, and will surely seduce all who often feel “bizarre”.”
