Castlefield Bowl

Manchester’s favourite musical mini-series returns to Castlefield Arena after an enforced absence due to Covid-19. This series of gigs is widely anticipated by North West music fans every year. The line up for previous years has featured the likes of New Order, Chic, Noel Gallagher, The Levellers, Arcade Fire and Rag N Bone Man to name but a few. This years sees the return of James, Pixies and the Hacienda Classical, plus Primal Scream performing Screamadelica which closes the run of gigs. There are still a limited amount of tickets left for most shows from Ticketmaster. Doors open at 5.30pm for all gigs and there is a 10.30pm curfew, with most headline bands on around 8.30pm. Get there early as there are some brilliant supporting artists spread across the week. Who can forget the excellent Royal Blood set when they supported Pixies on their last visit? Lets hope the rain stays away!

The full schedule is kicked off by Lewis Capaldi, tonight 28th June, followed by;

Weds 29th June Foals + Wet Leg + The Regrettes

Thur 30th June Crowded House + special guest

Fri 1st July The Libertines performing Up The Bracket in full + Sports Team

Sat 2nd July James performing their legendary Alton Towers set + special guest

Tue 5th July Pixies + Slow Readers Club + Klangstof

Weds 6th July Sam Fender + special guest

Fri 8th July Hacienda Classical

Sat 9th July Primal Scream + The Mysterines + Lonelady + Waltdisco
