WITH a series of British live dates coming up across the autumn – for details of those, pop down the page a little – the brilliant Ryan Lee West, aka Rival Consoles, has dropped a new summery slice of his characteristically chattering, atmospheric electronica; it’s entitled “Pulses Of Information”, and you can delight in it below.
Having just premiered on Mary Anne Hobbs’ 6 Music show, it indeed pulses with a grand textural depth, echoing and refracting like intelligent sonar, pulsing as per the apt title, transporting you into a world of dit-ditting abstracted communication with a swell of distant string haze.
