Autopsy’s first ever official live album Live In Chicago is out now with the album including the brand-new track “Maggots in the Mirror”, giving fans a taster of what’s to come from their next studio album. Recorded this year just ahead of lockdown on 7th March at Reggie’s Rock Club, in Chicago. The album contains 66 minutes of classic tracks spanning their whole 30+ year career.
On the new track Chris Reifert comments:
“Here’s a new one that squirmed its way into our live set. It’s a quick and ugly little fucker and if you listen loud enough, you might feel a disturbing sensation underneath your skin. Or you may just want to pick up a chair and throw it across the room. Either reaction is acceptable. Enjoy!”
With growling a plenty and manic drumming this is Autopsy doing what they do best. A short hard kick to the head with their infectious chaos. Like a Motorhead on steroids.
